  8. ConPaste is a 2.0 commodity that allows you to paste clipped text into
  9. anything. Paste into string gadgets.  Paste into any text application.  In
  10. this new version, ConPaste drops its priority by 1 when pasting text to
  11. allow sufficient processor time for the receiving task or window to process
  12. the text.

  14. When you press a user-defined key or key combination, ConPaste will take any
  15. FTXT found in clipboard unit 0, convert the text back into input events, and
  16. send the input events into the input stream.  The output will go to the
  17. active window or string gadget.

  19. The built-in default key combination for pasting with ConPaste is now
  20. RightAmiga-j (previously RightAmiga-i which was not a great combination
  21. since that is supposed to bring up Info).  You can define a different
  22. combination with the KEY= tooltype by supplying a commodities-type key
  23. description such as:

  25. KEY=RCOMMAND j        (RightAmiga-j)
  26. KEY=LALT p        (LeftAlt-p)
  27. KEY=f1            (function key f1)

  29. NOTE: You must first clip the console text to the clipboard via the normal
  30. 2.0 drag select and RightAmiga-C, or by using a text editor which supports
  31. clipping or copying of text to the clipboard.  You can also use
  32. SYS:Utilities/More to display and clip text from any plain ASCII text file.
